The WV Alliance for Sustainable Families (WVASF) has serves as an important voice for West Virginia's working families. The WVASF coordinates research, education, advocacy, and coalition building on issues related to asset building and economic stability. The WVASF also leads EITC awareness throughout the state. The Mission of the WV Alliance for Sustainable Families is to increase access to asset building opportunities and improve economic security for low to moderate-income West Virginia families.

Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Sites that partner with the Alliance of Sustainable Families are now giving you another reason to buy a US Savings Bonds at tax time. For every $50 in savings bonds that you purchase, you can enter into our ‘Save & Win’ Contest. Drawings of $1000 will be done on April 16, 2012, please ask your VITA perparer for the detials. Also, the VITA Volunteer who helps the most people buy bonds will win $1000.
